I had trouble interpreting this one. We have a lot of royalty this week. Typically I see kings as representing mastery. Queens in the tarot are said to be nurturing, but I interpret them the way they behave in chess: Whereas the king is limited to moving one square at a time, the queen can move in any straight line she sees fit. She has more freedom and can be more direct than the king. In some respects, this gives him more power than he has.
In the past we have the King of Pentacles. Pentacles can represent money or earthly concerns. I usually interpret them the first way, but today my eye is drawn to the lush greenery surrounding him, and I’m more inclined to believe it has to do with the physical realm. He’s taken a shine to some physical item and is watching out for it. Did you get a fancy new phone recently?
I interpret the queen here in her traditional nurturing role. She has sacrificed some of her freedom to sit with her egg.
The Ace of Swords is what throws me. Aces are new beginnings and swords are intellectual concerns. Your new item has helped you see the world in a new way.
I speculated phone, but, again, I think of the greenery that dominates that past and present. With that in mind, I predict you’re going to become a farmer.
